In the trunk on the right hand side for a little bit better weight distribution. Although some people by the really small batteries and mount them in bumpers/etc, or somewhere else farther down in the engine bay. If you do move the battery to the trunk though, and plan to run on a track, most places require a remote cutoff switch, and the battery should be in a box strapped and bolted down.

put it on the right side of your truck, many people do this for weight thingy mabob purposes. when you do it make sure to use a thick 2 or 4 gauge cable and maybe a 100-130 AMP breaker right AFTER the battery for safety

Mine is located behind my back bumper, on the outside of the car.Remember if you ever plan too go too the track, and battery is not in the stock location. You will need a cut off switch,it doesnt matter where you put it.

And if the battery is inside the car, you will need battery box, vented outside!! FYI
