I was hoping the Patriots wouldn't win. Yay.

Also, it was extremely lame of the Pats coach to leave the field before the facking game was over. Way to be a man and not dodge the inevitable "So, what's it like to ruin a perfect season?" For a team that got so much love and hype over the season, I think they showed crappy character.

i wanted to see the Pats win so i wouldnt ever have to hear from Mercury Morris ever again, i hate that piece of crap.

but i was discussing Manning earlier this season with someone on here and saying how he was overpaid/rated, which he was.

but if he can keep up the way he has played in the playoffs into the rest of his career he will be amazing. glad to see him win to make certain EPSN analysts shut their f*cking mouths.

wow that game was awesome!!! I so wanted a good super bowl and didn't care who won but always love to see an upset and that was the best way it could have ended. even after the giants took the lead i was cheering to Braddy to come back and somehow score the winning TD...as unfathomable as it was i wanted to see if he had it in him!

x2...I didn't care so much about the outcome, I just wanted to see a good game.

The play on the last drive for the Giants where Eli should have been sacked (but broke free), and Tyree should of dropped the ball (but held on) was f*cking amazing. The whole room exploded on that play, regardless of who they were routing for.

First off like I have in all the other threads I want to congratulate the giants and their fans on a fantastic win. The game was top notch couldn't have asked for more(other than for the pats to have one but can't win em all).

I just want to point out a few things though that people seem to get wrong.

1.)I do not see how the Patriots themselves are classless. If you have ever watched the post game press confrences you would know that Brady,Moss, Belichick are never like "aw yea we stomped them in to the game. In their face". Yes you can argue that because of the scandal of the begining of the year that makes them classless but if you really think about it it only reflects negatively against Belichick himself.

2.)I would not call belichick a sore loser. If you remember correctly there was 1 second left on the clock. Belichick walked out on to the field AT THE SAME TIME as the Giants head coach told him congratulations and gave him a hug. I would not constitute that as being a sore loser. It was only LATER that the team was informed that it had to start one more play for the game to be officially over.

3.)Now I'm not going to sit here and make excuses because "wining's wining". But I would put money on an injury report coming out in the next few weeks. Probably not until after the pro bowl cause if I remember right Brady is playing in that. But I will be willing to bet that something comes out about he was either sick or hurt. I say this because if you watched every game or even most games that they played this season, he just didn't look right. Also back during one of the other Super Bowl's he had a shoulder injury that wasn't disclosed until after the Super Bowl

4.)Something else that I think that will be interesting to see is the senator form PA's inquiry to the cheating scandal at the beginning of the season. Last I checked the government had no right to question the actions of a Corporation unless it broke a law and I don't see that here. Same with the week 16 game where they forced the NFL network into a simulcast.

Overall though I think that both teams had a spectacular season. I definitely had fun watching the Pats try for a perfect season. The Giants simply wanted it more and were the first time to figure out how to beat the Patriots. Before anyone goes and making the mistake of calling me a Bandwagon fan, I have ben a fan for as long as I can remember. My Dad is originally from Boston and we both went to Gilette Stadium over christmas to see the new facility over christmas.

Brady Didn't look right because on the feild he spent most of the time scraping his ass off the dirt...

you obviously hadn't watched anyother game this season cause if you did you would have noticed the dark circles under his eyes and his whole demeanor was different. also you do realize that the last statement he made was jokingly right? I really don't see how a lot of that was cocky. he even commended him on being a great player.

So Belichick was joking when he stormed off the feild before the game was over.. yeah Class act right there...

ok let me get this right?? so the whole offensive line was sick?? thats why they let brady hit the dirt so many times???

I have seen them play the whole season.. They were good for the fact that they played consistently for 60 mins and many of the other teams would self-distruct. but they were not untouchable <like they thought they were> as we seen tonight.

no that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that if you compare the offensive line now to that of the one he started off with they are night and day.

look we can argue all night how brady was molested the night before by a gang of thugs and had no sleep thats why he had bags under his eyes. but the fact is he was sacked 5 times tonight, and they lost.

hell if they werent so cocky and kicked a feild goal instead of going for it on 4th and long we might still be watching but they didn't they lost.

still can't believe with that happened during the season and now whats going to happen in the off season that someone is still making excuses for the patriots epic failure for the season. i guess they made it inside mercury's house but wasn't allowed to sit at the table.

Mercury wouldn't have let them sit there even if they had won and the funny thing is that the pats played more teams with winning records than the dolphins did when they went undefeated.

i'm glad the giants won though... it kinda gives eli a bit more credit other than "yeah that's peytons brother"...
