Who here has seen one in real life?

I've been reading alot of posts about people saying that it looks like a mazda 3 when they haven't even seen it in person! Lol I went to subaru of gwinnett yesterday and saw the white one they had in show room.

And it looks nothing like a mazda or any other wagon.

It doesn't even look like an '08 WRX, it looks alot more aggressive. The only thing that I would change would have to be it's tail lights, but with alittle bit of tint it'll help it out a ton... A lip would also make the car look even better.

But people shouldn't really compare it to a mazda because this new STI makes it look like sh!t. And not just in the exterior but interior as well. Here are some pictures of a white '08. LMK what yall think. :)

That's why people are allowed to have opinions. You may be insecure about how your depth of vision changes from picture to reality, but I'm quite confident that what I see in a picture is going to be the exact same thing I see in reality. From the front, the only thing that looks decent is the scoop. Maybe if all that black were color matched, it would be different. Later, QD.

But even though it's a wagon, it doesn't look that big in person. The rear isn't all that bad, the interior is badass! Seats, cluster, everything looks alot better than the previous years IMO.

I haven't seen the one subydude has, let me go check! :P

I just don't like it. Granted I haven't seen it in person yet, but the only pictures of it I've even found remotely attractive are ones that are photoshopped. And it's really not even the front for me, I can get used to it. It's everything behind the back wheels. I'm sorry but the back looks like a bag of ass.

Mazdaspeed3 > 08 STi, I hate the way those fenders are bulged, they could'n't of done the good ole R32-R34 GTR or 04 Subie bulges, they had to invent this retarded S-curve. also ,the headlights, lower and upper grill look like they're pushed tooo far inwards, that's just the front, I hate those whole car's looks. Although I may have not seen it in person, I will say the new Lancers look better in person too, only difference is that they looked good to begin with.

It handles better than previous stis also. Everything about that car says better, it is comfortable, looks better, handles better and has way more room.

I'm not hating on it. I just simply don't like the way it looks. It's just my opinion. And it's definitely not because I can't afford it. Lol, there are plenty of cars that I can't afford that I love the sh*t out of :)

Oh and I've read in a few reviews (most recently Car and Driver) that the handling feels very vague on the new car. It doesn't give the same kind of feedback from the road as the previous models. It's a softer car. Subaru is trying to sell to the masses now and get out of their niche market. It makes perfect sense from a business standpoint, but I still don't like it.

All of that being said, I'd still definitely drive one if given to me. But I can never see myself purchasing an 08 model.

Just got my Car and Driver in the mail not too long ago that compares the VW R32 + Lancer Evo X + new STi and I agree w/ Csaba Csere's comment, "the STi wins the ugliest-car-on-the-planet contest".

The Evo won the comparo (outfitted in GSR trim). I concur with the verdict.

No not Nikola I put a CAI on his last night. My boy is from SC and he has a nicely modded MS3.

Oh Trel's MS6? He had CAI and Catback thats it. BTW it is gone it caught fire.

I may go to that Event of Jamie's If my new Rear Diff mount is in. If it is not in by then I'm not going to risky of breaking rear diff with the ****ty stock mount.
