I've read somewhere about a special rubbing compound made for getting these off... I'll see if I can find the link.

ask your mama or wife what spray they use to get rid of. :-) its becasue women are boss in the kitchen, or living room. they knew which best one spray can.

It's got alot more uses than just that. Basically anything you would using a rubbing compound for. Ive heard some say the alcohol and rain-x methods work but ive never had any luck with them. I had my buddy do the windows on my mach with that stuff and it was amazing the difference.

I told ya man, just piss on the window, and wipe it off with a t shirt.....remember has to be a tshirt. The urine is acidic and eats that **** up.......

nm. jk. My window cleaner gets spots off. I use the Invisible glass by a company called Stoner with newspaper. Works for me.

water spots are like spots left over after your wipers go across? i've tried some rubbing compound on it but i dont think it's any better. it's always at night when it's raining that makes the windshield worse. rainX wipers dont even work lol so i might just try this...Zaino (http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=Z-12&Category_Code=Zaino&Product_Count=16)

We always used whink at toyota. It takes off water spots on paint and windows. You just can't do a windshield with it.

http://www.whink.com/rust_stain_remover.htm

You have to use it in the shade. I always use a cloth wax applicator to rud it in in small 12x12 areas. Don't let it get dry. You rud it in circular motions for about 15-20 seconds then spray it with windex. wipe clean with a rag and spray with windex one more time to clean it off. The water spots disappear. Try it, you wont be dissapointed. Just don't use it on the windshield. They sell it at walmart.

Maybe I haven't had the kind of spots you're talking about, but I've never had anything that rain-x couldn't take care of.

Something about it being shatter proof. All the cars that were close to the sprinklers had hard water spots on them that would not come off. The whink took cars of them.

Hey guys lol. this is funny. we might be talking about 46284128934271 different types of problems on our windshields lol!!!! in my case when i use the windshield wipers, it wipes the water off but there are still lil spots where the blades dont catch, thus leaving it horrible blurry at night. yeah the winshield is using those RainX wipers, new.

I'm a semi-professional detailer. Automotive claybar is the best product to use. It can be used on your paint and windows to completely eliminate rain spots, and oxidation.
