Can you buy complete engines, tranny, etc. from the honda dealer?

I was wondering if you could actually go to the parts department at a honda dealer and buy full engines, blocks, heads, or tranny etc. lemme know if you have any info on this.

yea you can but be prepaired to pay about 3-10gs. for a complete depending on what motor. if its the newer ones you can get it new
dealers get motors from places like japanese motors and other places like that then mark it up. but does not come complete so they will throw brand new parts on it.such as alternator etc.

never seen them come complete brand new usaully comes with head and block assembly not intact or as in head is notbolted on already for new motors

bring your bank,ky jelly and a stick to beat the **** out of yourself of how outrageous the price is gonna be ... but ... worth it in the long run .... at least you will be able to say this is the last time you see me for a LONG time because a properly kept honda is like a energizer bunny " it keeps Going " no matter how much hell you put it through except no oil lol .. g/l ...

LIRL yes do NOT go to a dealer for an engine lol i had a guy pop his 350z engine and wanted a full long block + gaskets + all the other crap bwhahaha $8500 later bwhahaha he ACTUALLY PAID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! even after i recommended him like 10 other places... but hey... it will make my commission check THAT much sweeter :D
