i was on oakland road yesterday around 2:30-3:00 PM.

and yes its a full STi swap from a 2006. For now it just bone stock but, im looking at a full 3" turboback, FMIC, HKS SSQ, SubZeros and thats it for a while until i can save up a few more paychecks :goodjob:

that would be one first things i would recommend you to do something about if you have STi motor and planning on doing more aftermarket mods to it...especially if 300+whp goal. Unless you don't launch it and do pulls in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. You'll be good. Rebuild it with stronger gears or sell it for a 6spd and save thousands before hand. Ask Maniac LOL.

idk man i got a friend with a 04 wrx with a sti swap, modded(350whp), with a 5-speed tranny and hes been driving his well over 60k now with no problems :thinking:

If it's a VF-39 (stock sti turbo), it should get between 290 and 305 whp and between 320 and 340 wlb-ft. The whp mostly depends on how much boost your particular turbo will run at redline...

don't be too tough on the 5spd, wrx 5 spd tranny are pretty weak if you don't treat them well. as long as you don't launch the car or do hard shifting, it'll live though.
