laptop problem

So my dell d600 laptop is having issues! It powers up and after a few seconds before the screen lights up, it shuts down.WTF! Im thinking it might be a bad battery. anybody got any ideas???

try to use it while its plugged in. if it work like normal then its the battery.

give us more info. Is the ac plugged in or not. Have you tried to charge it? Have you try to take the battery out and plug in the ac?

the battery is charged. I lost my ac adaptor, im going to get another one tmr! I've been to busy to play with it lately, thought I would ask you guys so I know what to look for when I get some free time tmr

may be battery old or some glitches in hardware like ram module.. Yes plug direct to power....

more than likely a badd battery. when you get a new ac adapter turn the laptop on when its plugged in to the ac adapter.....
