even though it serves no purpose to be staggered, I like the look. I hope the motor is obscene as hell to offset the crazy body work.

I agree. The front looks pretty good, but, for some reason, the back wide looks weird. Later, QD.

It's def not my cup of tea but it is very clean for what it is.
It's evident that a lot of time went into the bodywork of this car..
It is rice but the work, or at least from what can be seen in these pics, looks top notch.

Thats the new thing Honda guys are doing now... taking VW trends and applying them to Hondas. Even the EF guys put Mk3 Jetta/Golf/GTI lips on their cars now.

That looks like ****.
I love how "all the really nice, quality body work" went into the car, but they couldn't fill/shave the pins for the H emblem on the hood.. Nice wannabe M3 mirrors and stock interior, btw... :lmfao:

I would like it better it the front and rear bumpers were more oemish, and if the rice headlights/tailights were gone, and also if the sideskirts were molded on the car. I think it would look a lot cleaner over all that way. Other than that its nice.

It's a clean look. The rims just seem a little out of place, right color, though But it's a clean ride overall.

The car belongs to a guy I work with. He wanted to "try something different" so, he started toying around with this Civic in his driveway. He actually did all of the bodywork himself in his garage. Lots of fiberglass, time, sanding, re-fiberglassing, re-sanding, paint, more time & wheels later, this is what he has thus far. It's definitely not everyone's cup-o-tea but, I had to give this guy mad props for simply wanting to try something different and ending up with something that looks pretty darn good. He built this from an idea in his head and put the work into it to make his idea come to life...he did all the work himself (minus the paint). I thought that was pretty impressive.

It looks alright! Seem like a lot of waste time and money! Prop for DIY and body work! I've seen this car all the time with primer running on Simpson Cir Norcross before. The pics were taken at the new shopping they just buit on Simpson Cir isn't it? I recognize it.

01-31-2008, 07:18 PM
He did the body work himself, huh? Is that why that fiberglass montstrosity sat at sprayglo Duluth for a few months?
Looks bad now, but looked like HELL when I saw it before it got painted.
The reason that thing will never race is because it's probably double the weight of a stock hatch with all the bondo that's everywhere.
Thought it was ugly then, still think it's ugly.
