View Full Version : For sale thread deleted.....why?

I posted up a car for sale about a week ago. The thread was deleted very soon after I created it. I have been a member over a year, i have over 500 posts and I have more than 2 green rep bars. Why was it deleted? Also, I wrote Julio a PM when I first realized that the thread was deleted, but he has yet to read/reply to it...

What gives?

well, now that you mention it, I have seen a few threads of cars for sale for friends... I actually just looked at one...

gotcha. Well, you might want to add the rule: You must own what you are selling. No for sale ads for friends, buddies, significant others or strangers.

^I just checked the rules and it used to say "cannot sell for friends" im sure it is somewhere. but I will add it again. sorry for the inconvience.

there is a syyline for sale in the classifieds right now. its been there for awhile its made it to page 4. one of the first things it says is I AM SELLING FOR A FRIEND. so i was wonderingthat is just one of the few i havebeen watching to see if they get locked... but i guess it helps if you know theright people :???:

I know dieselnuts, kool guy. But I dont play favorites nor did I delete his thread. But if rules are there, then we must go by them. I've had to delete a few of my friends listings. I usually PM them with a reason why.
