so, this past winter break i go to France to visit my family.. my god-father owns 11 cars, mostly jaguars including a completely restored E-Type.. anyway, since i got my porsche, he's been wanting one.. so, he goes buy himself a christmas present.. the day before he tells me to wake up early because we have to go pick up his present, but wouldn't tell me what it is.. knowing him, i knew it was a car.. anyway, enough :blah: here are the pics:

That's a gorgeous 911, for sure. My dad used to have an 87 back in the early 90s. Had the whale-tail and everything, a lot like that one. I was real young, but I loved that car. I remember he had a Momo wheel with a quick release hub, and the wheels were the original Fuchs that he had restored. I think he had some other small bits on it, but there's really not much to make better on those. He mostly left it alone.

Congrats to your Godfather, man. Sounds like the guy knows whats up when it comes to his cars. As do you!
