I gotta 92 Teg. . .i put it in first gear. . .let off the clutch and it won't even stall:eek:. . .first guess is that the clutch is FUUU:idb:EEED. . .someone recommend a sponsor that'll do it for the low or. . .if any of you have a cherry picker for sell (engine hanger) for sell. . .i'll risk sweat, blood and balls to do it myself.:screwy:

you dont need a picker to pull the motor to do a clutch just pull the wheels and axles and have at it... you just need a jack so you dont drop it on the ground.

is there a certain procedure to it. . any precautions you can give me. dont drop it on your foot?... i figure its like any FWD. wheel axles... maybe lower center subframe strap slid trans out on a angle to clear the from frame rail... i deal with nissans and thats how we do it.

depends on if you cooked the flywheel but i always replace the p-plate with a clutch and throw out bearing

chances are it's likely that your flywheel might need to be resurfaced...

and if you were thinking you needed a picker to pull the motor... just to do a clutch.. you might wanna have someone else do it.

no offense.

but really.

you can buy an engine hoist for like $150 bucks. Or take it to a shop and get it done properly for a few hundred.

is it possible to do it without an engine hoist. . .cause i'm not trying to spend money i don't have.yea it is. either have a lift and trans jack or take ur chances on trying to lay it on your chest or dropping it on the ground softly.

All you need is a basic tool set a good floor jack.

10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 36 mm sockets/wrenches. A few extensions, punch, hammer, etc. Very basic stuff.
