alan, you KNOW the reason i havn't done anything with it yet. ;)

But another reason is that I've been tossing around the idea of an ITR front end. no point in fixing it, if I'm just going to replace it in 6 months right?

I am using an NV7, which isn't that bad of a point and shoot. I guess that i just need a little schooling on how to operate it better. :)

It's the photographer, not the camera(alhtough owning a DSLR is nice, it isn't neccesary). Go to www.thephotoforum.com and tell them you want to get more out of your camera. Post the make and model, and you could be surprised. Not too bad though as it is though, I've seen much worse.
