BEWARE!!! there is a goldish/silverish chrysler MINIVAN !! (unmarked, tinted, tag looks regular) that is an undercover cop...

has blue lights inside the van...

caught a couple folks for racing... saw everything... even called for backup

I want to say they followed everyone out BP... cuz one of the backup police officer was like make sure to tell everyone BP is no longer...

BECAREFUL when going to race.. you never know who is following you!

That won't stop people from going. I bet next saturday the parking lot will still have some cars there. I've been done with BP so this isn't bad news to me, but for all the rice around gwinnett this is equivalent to armageddon. Something I have been waiting for along time.

nah pulled over in the damn neighborhood right before getting to our friends house... the other person had already made it to the house and got screwed too...

on our way home.. two of the guys went at it... while a van stayed back watching along with us (we were on a road, they down shifted to 2nd so we were right behind them before they took off)... as soon as we all turned into the neighborhood the van turned his lights on behind the car that lost.. the car that won had already made it to the house. but one of the backup cops went looking for him and caught him.. we already dipped out the neighborhood out another street..

GCPD is stupid. When are they going to realize that they are not solving anything. San Diego had a huge problem with racing - lots of accidents. They took a pro-active stance and started running Friday night drags at a school and watched racing drop dramatically.
All GCPD needs to do is have a lot with a couple of uniformed officers (that are into cars) hanging out and they can stop the little fights, keep everyone in one location, and generally make everything safer (and spread the message that they don't want any street racing in Gwinnett).
By running everyone off, they are just spreading out their resources to try to chase everyone down at the new little meeting spots. This is ignorant. It hasn't worked for the past 20 yrs, why would it start working now?

thanks.. life sucks right now for a couple ppl i know :(They choose to participate in an illegal activity (street racing) and they got caught. Boo F*cking hoo. I'm glad life sucks for them because maybe it will keep them from racing when my wife and kids are on the road. No the police will never stop it, but the kids that continue to go to the BP (and race) are just plain f*cking stupid.

75-80% of BP are illegal ricers anyways... why go?

That won't work either because if you sanction something, you are then atleast partially liable, besides where are you going to do it?

Sign a waver like at most track events?

You know that there is no lawsuit proof waiver out there. Remember how stupid packed Commerce used to get? Where in the world in Gwinnett would they have enough room of a straight road that will hold a few hundred people anyway?

I'm no saint by any means since I do my random light to light prove a point type thing, but the problem is that even if you give some of these kids an actual TRACK where they can do what they are begging to do....they won't use it. They're either too cheap or too lazy to drive 30 mins to do it right.

For example, we are hosting our annual spring track event on March 2nd down at Reynolds. So far, there haven't been that many people from IA sign up. The ones that have, are NOT the ricer BP type. Wonder why that is????

Point is that there are plenty of tracks/events to do all your grudge matches until you turn blue in the face, but people won't take advantage of it at all. They'd rather get put in jail because they got chased down by a MINIVAN than beat someone straight up in front of everybody at the track.

amazes me how people still go to BP. I guess it is nice for you to warn the IA people of the cop, but honestly, if they keep going go to the BP, let them be stupid and get caught.

what i meant was to BECAREFUL WHEN GOING TO RACE... cuz you never know who is following you...

You give shiitty advice. What you should have meant to say and what would have been actual good advice is to just take the racing to the track. Later, QD.

that too.. but 25% of the folks at bp ride out to race... we were just on our way home and two folks just decided to go at it outta nowhere...

yea take it to the track but there are many folks on IA that streetrace... just giving those folks advice on being careful and a heads up cuz they are hard headed and cant wait to go to the track.

We are LEXUS owners that go to the track, the LAST place you would expect a Lexus. If we go, anyone should go. Its the right thing to do.

Get some damn timeslips, not "i think I am faster" or "car and driver says I am faster"
