If the rumors can be believed, these sketches should preview the Mitsubishi Lancer (http://news.windingroad.com/body-stylesmarket-segment/sedans/08-naias-2009-mitsubishis-lancer-ralliart-is-evos-next-of-kin-do-not-publish-yet/) Prototype S concept that was supposed to be the company’s big splash for the Geneva Motor Show.

The Prototype S is a 5-door hatchback version of the standard Lancer, which reports say should be in near-production trim when it hits the stand (http://news.windingroad.com/auto-news/mitsubishi/08-naias-the-ralliart-of-vintage-mitsubishi-motorsports/) in Geneva. Little is now known about the svelte concept, including whether or not it could ever make its way to U.S. sale, though we’d certainly be stoked if it did.

While I still prefer coupes, I think this hatchback looks far better than the new impreza hatchback.

I love this hatchback but knowing regulations and such, I have a feeling that they're going to water down the edgyness too much when the concept goes to the street, that rear rake is too impracticle for rear headroom.
