Maybe you should try running at a drag strip that isn't 30,000 feet above sea level, or consider getting rid of the stick for an auto, so your shifting won't so drastically hinder your 1/4 mile ET.

Evo8's are supposed to be the slowest outta the newer ones. It's like evo8's are the Acura Ls/b20nonvtech motors and the newer evo's with the Mivec motors are the Acura/Honda Dohc Vtech motors(b18c,b18c1,b18c5,h22a,k20a,k24). I ran a 13.6 at the quarter mile 100% bone stock on some bridgestone tires. Evo9's and Mr's are supposed to run high 12's bone stock depending on the driver and they tune way better then a evo8. I ran a civic hatch that had a b20Vtech supercharged the other day and it was about to pass me up in 4th gear. Luckily there was a car in front of him and he slowed down. That thang had more top end no doubt. But I'm happy with my evo for right now.. One day I'd like to own a car with vtech one day just to have. An evo & an all motor built :yes:

The guys there know there stuff and reading posts and threads help my automotive knowledge improve. Sn's yangs4ever4g63 on evotuners.net. I have one on evolutionm.net also. I think its the same sn as this one.

I have a few relatives and friends that are on here also but Its weird how theyre not saved as my buds. haha Their fast too but they dun't drive evos and sti's. :goodjob: Shiet, i'm just a noob trying to gain some experience points in this import world.. haha before and after effects..Aint trying to be the fastest around town..
