The only people stupid enough to buy an $80k wagon are those who are looking for luxury (i.e. M5 wagon), not a supercar. What man will trust his soccer mom wife with something that will run down a GTR or Porsche? Not me. Don't get me wrong, the M5 is fast, but not GTR or 997 fast.

yeah they look pretty similar. the sti is butt-f*ckin' ugly though. Subaru needs to fire their designers because after the '04 body style wrx, everything else just started getting progressively uglier :no:

I think if you guys didn't own Subies right now, and didn't have Subie fanboyism, you WOULD go as far as to call it ugly. That thing is hideous! I mean, I am probably overglorifying the Mazda myself but looking at the STi standalone, that swoopy front fender bulge is horrible, the front fascia looks like it was inspired by the plain-as-a-sheet of paper guys at Toyota (before their styling department rolled out the finally-somewhat bold Camry). I mean, the fact that it is a hatchback isn't the worst part. It's the butt ugly styling.

I admit I hate the tail lights. I really like the way the last body style looked in comparison. I don't think the car is ugly. But I admit that subaru has made sone ugly ass cars (baja). Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. So if thats what you think its all good.:goodjob:
