hey guys... does anyone have some info about automatic and manual ecu's.
apparently a manual engine can run with an automatic ecu, but does it run correctly?
i know this sounds stupid but i really don't know. please help, and don't hate.

We've run some cars with the auto ecu but you will get some CEL's for the auto stuff. Also, I think the rev limiters are sometimes lower since the auto tranny's don't like the high rpms. What car and motor. Later.

yep :goodjob:,but would deff get a manual ecu as soon as u could
auto to manual ecu convert :goodjob:

it would be advised to get your obd1 ecu chipped and converted to manual.
