We have 2 openings for general service associates at the Statebridge Kauffman Tire in Alpharetta. Before I go into detail of what the job entails, let me make very clear that this is for anyone and everyone who would like to start working on vehicles. As a general service associate, your job would be, but not limited to:

Dismount, mount, and balance tires
Change oil
Change air filters
Change wiper blades
Repair flats

Whereas the job doesn't entail much, you will be kept steadily busy, get good benefits including 1 week of paid vacation after 1 year, healthcare options, a 401k plan, and discounts including having to pay only 15% over cost on all parts, tires, and wheels. There is also much room for advancement. There are many techs in the company making over $100k.
If you're persistent, then you may enter the apprenticeship program to become a tech yourself.

If you have any questions, please feel free to pm me or post in this thread. -David

^^^Of course

ps. as for the MVR deal, I don't believe that would be a factor in your consideration for hire. The only driving you'll ever do on the clock would be to pick up parts or tires on special occasions...

As a general rule, would Kauffman hire for summer term only?

Well, it is general protocol amongst businesses to inquire about criminal backgrounds. It's up to their discretion as to whether or not you would not be detrimental to the company.

No random screening. Just one test before you're hired.

Depending on whether or not we have filled the position, sure. It should be filled within the next couple of weeks, though.

kauffman..lol... you could not pay me enough to work there or get any type of work there again. they hire pot head high schoolers who come in like 2 days a week hung over or high and let them work on peoples cars..lol dumb asses i would rather work at wal mart and thats a crap hole. kauffman hahha what a joke

Heh, bad experience I take it? Kauffman has been great to me. 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year, 3 after 5, 15% over cost on basically everything you'd want for your car from our distributors, and bank hours with every Sunday off. As for pay, let's just say I live alone and it pays ALL the bills, including my college tuition...

Wal-Mart is that way :) ---------------------->
