I'm considering Energy Suspension, Prothane mount inserts. How do they compare to the stiffness of aftermarket mounts such as, Innovative, Hasport, Avid, etc... I know they usually offer stiffness ratings such as 60A, 70A, 80A or whatnot.. Would getting the mount inserts be comparable to any stiffness of aftermarket mounts?

just get mounts.. 60a is street, 70a is street and drag and 80a is for all out track car..

Dont waste your money on inserts, use 3m window weld and fill them yourself, better quality and costs much less. I did mine about 3 years ago and are still strong

I've had the 70A mounts and I loved them.. Little rough but fun.. Most likely I'm gonna end up with Innovative Mounts.. Just wanted some personal feedback about the inserts.

I do this on all my mounts also.

This works really well....but you have to let it sit for at LEAST 5 days out of your car to make sure they completely harden and cure. I've done this to mine, but what works even BETTER than that is to just get it welded (if its possible) and make it a solid mount. Sure, theres more interior vibes, but you also get slightly more power transfer to the wheels.

EDIT-- also, aftermarket/racing mounts can get to be pretty expensive, and welding your stock one costs a fraction of the $$ and still gets a similar result

I have Innovative 75a black and it is awesome! I've used Energy Suspension inserts before and they were good also. Of course not as good as the billet mounts, but depend on what kind of power you put down.

I agree 100% on you with that. I felt the same way. The Innovative 75A is awesome. I'm going with them again on the mounts for my Sol..
