*RIP* My baby, Terrence

One of my gerbils died today. I have 2, Terrence and Phillip. Terrence died today from complications from a broken foot that got infected. We took him to the vet and got medicine, but he just didn't make it through. I am really sad. I have had him almost 4 years and since he was 3 weeks old. He was as big as a quarter when I got him. I knew I should have given him away when I stopped working at the shop. It's not fair for me to expect the guys to keep an eye on them.

Anyways, RIP, baby!

Sorry for your lossThanks. I know it sound dumb, but I really love my animals. I cried when my fish, Brian and Dominick died, too. Terrence was in a lot of pain and I assumed he might die. I just hoped he would live :(

I didn't think I would be this sad either. It's a rodent for crying out loud....but he was cool as ****. He was trained and never bit (well he bit Baller and Halfbaked, but they are ****s). Like I said, I also had him since he was a tiny little thing :(
