This is the new 335i coupe. This one has been widened in the rear and I believe there is a M3 wing molded to the trunk. This car and the 135i just make me silly. Only downfall is no LSD but they still have a new M3 to sell  . Factory 3L twin turbo thats been putting BMW's hp figures down to the wheels, possibly the new "supra".........

Please do not refer to this car and supra in the same sentence again.. thanks! But its hot so free bumps and reps to you. :goodjob:Why is that? Abundant similarities.

- Both Twin Turbo Inline 6s
- Both Coupes
- Both RWD
- Both are good tuning candidates, especially with the 335i hitting 400hp on software alone.

Maybe in about 5-6 years when the platform will have the opportunity to develop more then we'll be seeing 1000hp 335is.

I want a m3 with a 335i motor.
The 135I is on the E46 M3 chassis and has the 3L TT motor, so there you go.

Any yes, the tuning capabilities of this engine are going to be sick!! Factory Mahle pistons. 400ft.lbs. of torque is NOTHING for this thing to make, I think factory is only 10-11psi. The difference in acceleration in the E46 M3 and the 07-08 335i is .1sec difference. I think I would rather have one and mod it a little over the new M3. Less harsh of a ride, and its not going to take sh1t to put out the numbers the M3 boasts, but to the back tires!! Probably be too much power/torque for anything other than straight line though.BMW is going to offer FACTORY performance parts including a Diff/FD, suspension, engine, brakes, etc....

All I was stating is that the New BMW is a far far far better car and its an insult to compare it to the supra. But yes I see where your getting at with the compare and thats why reps where given. I would be willing to bet that BWM has more money in its R&D section for the new 3 series than toyota's entire North American R&D section. But anywho..

Toyota sold close to 10 million cars last year, im more than 100% sure they spend more on r&d on a camry then bmw spends on their entire line of cars.

i know that its been out since 2007, I just posted up one that someone has modded a little. The aftermarket for the E92 isnt huge, companies are just now starting to make things for the cars. I see that Quaife has a LSD out for the car and only a mere $1600 large. Active Autowerke is about the only people I have seen really getting some stuff out.

Even though this is off topic, my mom drives a 07 Camry Hybrid and its kinda a piece of crap, the sunroof rattles, the rubber molding on the roof is coming off. But it does average 33mpg and she drives it 100+ miles a day.

I started doing hours of research to prove that bmw has more r&d per product line / per cost of the car than toyota but its not worth the time. Here is an overall breakdown of the entire automakers field. Needless to say, if you look at the number of vehicles sold to total r&d budget i think its easy to point out who has more money invested - regardless its a beautiful work of art!

TOYOTA
Toyota owns and operates Toyota, Lexus, Scion, has a majority shareholding in Daihatsu Motors [6], and has minority shareholdings in Fuji Heavy Industries, Isuzu Motors, and the engine, motorcycle and marine craft manufacturer Yamaha Motors. The company includes 522 subsidiaries.[7] Toyota planned to produce 9.51 and sold 9.37 million vehicles overall in 2007 by putting it in dead heat with General Motors. It plans to produce 9.95 and sell 9.85 million vehicles in 2008 setting an industry record if it happens[8].

On 8 January 2008, the company dropped "Motor" from its corporate name, calling itself simply "Toyota Corporation" (株式会社豊田 Kabushiki-gaisha Toyota) from "Toyota Motor Corporation." Also, Toyota changed the Japanese writing of its brand name from Katakana to Kanji and "Corporation" has moved from the end to the beginning.

BMW
BERLIN (AP) - Automaker BMW said Wednesday that sales of its cars rose by 9.2 percent last year, with buyers snapping up its luxury sedans and speedy Mini brands.
The Munich-based company _ whose brands include BMW, Mini and Maybach _ sold 1.5 million cars last year, compared with 1,373,970 in 2006, it said.
«We have completely
reached our sales target for 2007 _ growth in the higher single-digit percentage range

That one you posted is very very nice, espically the BBS's. oh those are sexy

but since it has been out a year, many many tuners have alot of mods for this car. The ultimate mod that they are doing is the V10 from the M5 into the M3. It's out of the price range of many of the M3 owners, but thats the big mod as of right now

reps for nice pictures:goodjob: (:(when I can, gotta spread)

Both of those examples are extremely hot. Those LMs are pure sex on the 335 and the CHs are almost as hot on the M3. I can't wait to see those M3s rolling around on these streets.

I will own a 335i sometime in my life. It is the new supra, you cant say anything otherwise, both have a tt I6 from the factory and aim for the luxury coupe market. From what I can remember they're both priced about the same at release too.

I'm trying to convince my father to sell his Oldsmobile and get one of these instead of the G37 he keeps looking at. I kept telling him about how he could mod it for cheap without my mother knowing and have a lot more car with the BMW than with the Infiniti.

Pure sex is right. I laugh at people who "don't like the new styling." Its one of the best looking cars on the road right now i.m.o. My uncles new 335ci 6 speed is one of the best stock cars that I have driven of all time (all around for the money) and I've driven alllot of cars. 44k, sex interior, sex looks, 105.5 in the 1/4th mile stock, 400rwhp/450rwtrq + with minor bolt ons and software and a chassis to die for. They are sick.

Too bad it doesn't have a dipstick and runs off an electric water pump... No thanks :)
