well for us haters.....this list isnt really for the "most important" cars but the ones that helped sell or changed car markets. So most important can also mean greatest and that would be a different list all together.

See what you think of this. Not in any real order but here are the ones that matter to me. Ill make this a post war list!

1. VW original Beetle
2. 1972 Porsche 911 RS
3. 1967 Corvette Sting Ray
4. 1966 Ford GT40 Mark II
5. 1955 MB 300SL
6. 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO
7. 1959 Aston Martin DBR1
8. 1963 Jaguar XKE
9. 1969 Nissan Z
10. 1965 Shelby Cobra 427

Most of you will disagree with this list but cmon ( Shelby or Prius )

i guess the point im trying to make is. Important cars are the ones made to be great. Not the ones that brain wash the average car consumer into thinking he's saving the world when he's got enviromentaly friendly battery acid in the trunk. (WTF Toyota :2up: )
