For some reason my car won't start on cold days when the temperature drops below 40 degree. When ever i crank up the car, i dont hear the crank, just the fuel pump running and a click. Anyone know what could be the problem?

if it wont crank, but the fuel pump is working... i would suggest have a closer look at the starter.

are you guys saying starter is dead? Car works fine on warm days.

if it doesnt even turn over when cranking, but your fuel pump is working (means battery is fine?, check it anyway)... then power is not going to the starter or the starter is recieving power but malfunctioning. look in your car's factory service manual and see if theres any diagnostics related to the starter.

Are you running an aftermarket ECU like AEM by chance?

no stock ecu. I think battery is fine because when my keys are on acc all the lights on the cluster lite up. All electrical functions in car work as well.

have you tried to jump start it? if that works then it's the batt. if not then it's probably the starter. lights and pump can work if you have enough volts/amps, but it could be low enough to not want to start.

you could also take the batt to be load tested when it's cold.

Battery, battery connections, relay, starter.

I would check them in that order.
