Things You Hate about Your Car

As the title says just state whatever you hate about your car.Follow the format I made.

2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 5spd.

The gear box is rubbish. getting into 1st and 2nd is abit like a virgin trying to find the hole.

The suspension also rubbish feels like a cadilac. Also the turning radius is ridiculous.

The cup holders are in the worst spot they could be right behind the gear lever.

It's heavy

It's slow.

Not the cheapest car to modify

It has a blown O2 sensor which has thrown the car into open loop causing it run rich.

Blown idle speed motor which causes the idle to bounce upon down much like a 16 year old girl on a trampoline.

Everyone assumes it's cheap and slow just because it's Korean. Yes, stock tibs are slow. Mine's not stock -- it's not a 700whp supra either, but it's not exactly a pushover.

Another myth is that all Korean cars are cheap. Newer Hyundais aren't cheap. Cheap in price, yes -- Cheap in quality, no. I've had virtually NO problems with my Tib, and the few small problems i've had have been covered under a great warranty. I don't see why it's so damn hard for Hyundai to get respect when their cars are out there going just as strong as Japanese competitors. It's just an old stereotype that probably won't go away unless Hyundai impresses with their new RWD Tib coming out soon.

edit: one thing i really hate about it is everybody asks me what kind of car it is because of the Tuscani emblems.

right now: driveshaft needs to be replaced (vibrates), exhaust needs to be replaced (rattles), I need a new Hurst Shifter (my hurst rattles), and my badass motor isnt done yet. but will be shortley :ninja:

ewww i hate the ****ing steering! been through 2 racks and now i'm rocking a new one. and there's still tooo much free play! it takes less force to pull to the right than to the left, but it's much much more stabile now with the new rack! but i hate it, and tha SOHC!!!!! lollll ohh and the darn drip moldings.. they are too expensive

I can't drive it down at school
Smokes when its cold
Stereo sucks (working on that)
Two step isn't setup right yet
Traction is a little bit of an issue
Wheels are hard to keep clean

not bad when matched against the reasons I love the car.

My car has been in the shop getting built for about 5 months now, 2nd test drive from a roll, the car toasts a brand new stage 3 comp-clutch from a roll in 3rd gear, and peggs out the boost guage. So far that is what I have about my car, more to come im sure.

1. front windows are tinted 35% and the backs are 15% due to a tint ticket..
2. Sloooooooooooooooow
3. Too low to go in alot of places... for example, getting out of my driveway has cracked my front lip...
4. Color is fading on the top and on the hood
5. I have all black interior, eccept for my dark blue dash...lol
6. my a/c compressor is starting to make really strange noises.

I hate that my car didn't come with underhood and footwell lights, but car based on my same chassis (Ford Probe) did. I also hate that the '93-95 Probes came with the lights that faded out after you closed the door and none of the 626's didn't. Well, except for the last body style. Or that if you have a couple of bad engine mounts and a heavy right foot, you can split the transmission in half if you launch hard and have wheel hop. That's about it. I love my car though.

most of these are fixed.

Have new tires, shift knob, engine bay's prettier now, headlights no longer fogged, i cant drive it so no ricers. CD player works fine.

I hate the dings i keep finding all over the car every 2 days.


I hate the kids that play wiffle ball in the parking lot of my apartment complex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

throttle screw on the carb keeps backing out until it starts dying at stop lights, where is the damned loc-tite?!?!
if i dont time my lane changes just right the sway bar mounts rip up road reflectors.
