They normally are good cars, the SI's anyways. So you're wanting to put parts on it already? You know that will void the warranty right?

you know that your partially incorrect right?

magnusson moss act....go look it up

why is it that almost everyone on this forum believe that modding will cause warranty void. Not all mods will do that....geez....
it will most likely have to do with how the dealership handles it. But like I said before. Magnusson Moss Act....the three word you have to say if your dealership decides to void your warranty WITHOUT evidence that the mod caused the problem...

My bad then. I've always heard that on any kind of vehicle, the slightest thing done to suspension or the engine voids the warranty. I always thought it was a fucced up rule, glad to see they did something about it.

You should get the hondata reflash for your car, or wait for kpro to come out for the new Si's.

I have the 07 Si sedan and love it. I have already put in the strutking dead pedal, Matching shift boot, springs, and K&N filter. I really enjoy it. I'm in Macon too....Maybe I know you.

Spend your money on a nice header, cat-back, and a better flowing filter. Later tune it and be done with it. Tuning will probably show the most gains, and you can add NOS like my buddy did to his K20 hatch w/ k-pro. I think he did 220whp on kpro street tune with header, test-pipe, 2.5 catback, and aem intake. Since then he did 06 si intake manifold, more street tuning with the varialble cam timing this time, and a 50 shot and did like 296 or 306 at the wheels.

dont waste time, get started modding modding, whats a warranty worth neways? its a honda. ive got an 06 SI coupe w/ X intake, DC race header, skunk2 70mm exhaust, Hondata reflash, TWM SS, P2r throttle body spacer, Hondata intake manifold gaskets, Ray's Eng. G-games 77w 2 piece wheels, Eibach Sportlines, Skunk2 Camber arms, 6000k HID kit, ect. The Hodnata reflash was by far the best mod to date. Lowered vTAKKK engaugement to 4.5k rpms and redlines and makes power all the way up to 8600rpm. Wait until you get a few bolt ons first though for best results. There is a fair ammount for us out already but not so much for the 4dr yet. There arent any solid tuning options out there yet due to the drive by wire and MAF sensor. As soon as my tax return gets here im going comptech STG I supercharger... I live in Kennesaw so hit me up if you wanna check it out.

also 8thcivic.com is the new civic forums lot of useful info there.

Thanks,
Josh

Hey...I have an 08 Civic SI, and I put an HPS cold air intake on it (which boosted my SI to 210 bhp) plus you really open up v-tec. If you are looking to boost it, do not give in to greddy t517 turbos or t25's. Get a t3 or t4 and build internals to push up to 15 lbs on factory specs
