What is mpfi or dpfi
Im trying to buy a distibutor and i dont know if i have a mpfi or dpfi?

DPFI= DUAL POINT FUEL INJECTION (means you have 2 injectors)
-Basically any CRX from 1988-1991 that was a DX is DPFI, and Civic Hatchback from 1988-1991 that was a DX

MPFI=Multi Point Fuel Injection (Means you have 4 injectors)
-Any CRX 1988-1991 that was a HF or SI model, any honda after 1991 was MPFI

so thats it all i do is count the injector

and im pretty sure my pos d15 doesnt have 4 injector mine mite be the only one made with one injector lol with my luck

what kind of car you have...because if you have anything newer than a 91 then its mpfi
