Ok guys we've un-canceled the meet we are going to meet at Start time in Roswell around 3-4 PM. Now they aren't charging us anything, but it would be nice for everybody to go and eat there just to say thanks for letting us meet.

I am totally up for this, I will defiantly post this up on my local forum here in Macon. I really have no idea where this place is at but I will find out. If I end up going I know for sure that I can get at least 5 other 7th Gen Celica owners up there with me.

Hmm, didn't bother to ask, as it was a mall parking lot figured a small gathering would go unnoticed. However as this is turning into a somewhat large ordeal maybe I should find out, if worse comes to worse we could find another spot.

Yeah I agree with them. I don't know the Gwinett Mall, but if they have those rent-a-cops then they will tell you to go inside of the mall or to disperse. It's almost like it is their job or something...:headslap:

The meet is still on, I contacted the mall and while they said they would love to have us for insurance purposes we can't hold the meet there. I am back to looking for a place to hold it, if anybody has some good Ideas I need them.

Just make sure when yall settle on a location to post the address or something, so that I will be able to look it up on Google maps and find it. Like I said, never really been in the Atlanta area and will defiantly get lost and never show up without good directions.

R2B2 has a HUGE open parking lot.... they took over an old car dealership behind Gwinnett place ford. maybe i can talk them into letting us meet there. They are closed on weekends and can fit over 100 cars.

Oh and another idea could be at Starlight Six Drive-In. It'll cost us $7 a person but you get a movie with it too :) We've had a few drive-in movie nights there before and it's fun.

Yea the mall is gonna be a no go. When there was a meet at the mall of GA about 2 years ago, we got kicked out in about 30 min. At first i wasnt planning on attending, but it really seems that this meet is gonna be pretty big, so ill probably be there.

hey guys......just as an idea there's the parking lot of the wal-mart they closed couple years ago across the street from Georgia diner and TGY Fridays on pleasant hill and Krogen blvd.......it's pretty big and its always empty......plus is kinda hidden behind some stores

I had a good time. I would like to see this done again, but with a larger turn out and a lot more cars. If a location can be secured and used with permission, the event can be scheduled with plenty of advanced notice. Also, planning will aviod the problems of having to relocate.
