I am looking to get a Tat done. I really don't want to go the cheap route cause I have waited damn near 10 years to get one done that I will be happy with the rest of my life. I have made my decision and was considering going back home to get it done cause it is cheaper there and I know the quality is exceptional. But I don't want to wait anymore so my question is, where does everyone get thier Ink done? What kind of $$$ am I looking at? I think I would be willing to pay as much as $500 for what I want done but I would rather not go above 300-350.

Might wanna do a search, there have been alot of recent topics on tattoos for some reason, one is in "civil" chat and another one is in here, from last week. I've heard good things about Psycho Tattoo on roswell rd.

Psycho seems to be the standard, but they also seem to be the most $$$. they wanted like 600-650 .

A quote from my buddy on the same topic.....

Well then. All or Nothing Tattoo is the best, just FYI. I have been to pretty much every shop listed on this site, and my work now gets done primarily at All or Nothing. www.allornothingtattoo.com. They've been in more magazines in the past year than any other shop. Brandon Bond is rated one of the top 25 artist in the WORLD. They dominate every convention with ease. I could seriously go on forever about their accomplishments. Just check out their site.

That's All or Nothing! They're amazing bro. Brandon Bond is looked upon as a god of tattoos (he is doing my sleeve) and all of their artist are unbelievable. www.allornothingtattoo.com

I got all of mine at pyscotattoo. They are expensive but they do awsome work. They charge pretty much by the hour so it depends on what you want on how much it will be.

im sort of deciding on my first one. i want to honor my grandfather but still deciding the best way to do so. how did most of you come up with an idea? did you just go and pick one out from their books, draw it out yourself, or look online for ideas?

GOOD CLEAN FUN is my choice of tattoo artists. THey are Yankees and if you treat them like shit they will treat you like shit but...they have done some amazing work for pretty damn reasonable price...they have almost every tattoo on their walls priced anywhere from $30 to $1000 plus. But if I had to choose it would be GOOD CLEAN FUN or Ink WIzard

I knew I wanted one for a while, but up till about a year ago when my cousin Kelly died, I knew what I wanted my tattoo to be. I made my own up. With a little help from the tattoo artist. I had a chrome cross done with a red rose vine weaving through it (red=love) and in each rose, I had her initials put in. I love it and have never regreted it and I know I never will. So if you tell the artist that you want a memorial tattoo, he will help you in the right direction.

I know you might not want to travel but if you did not mind the drive Jon Pitcher who works at Dragons Den in Augusta GA, has been a feature Artist in Prick Mag 3 or four times he does really good work i would not go anywhere else. He specializes in custom one of a kind pieces. He is really good and has really good prices. I guess you should think about what style you want before where you should go. Pick a style ie Old school, New school, Traditional, Japanese Traditional, New age. Then once you know that look for an artist not a studio. Custom work is always better than flash and you get more out of it because its yours. I have alot of work by a few different guys and I think that Jon Pitcher is one of the best around.
