The first round of this year Motogp Championship in Qatar will hold the first ever night race for a motorcycle grand prix. The track is very close to completion and the event has had mixed preview from the riders: Marco Milandri is thrilled while his Ducati teammate and current world champion Casey Stoner ( :goodjob: ) isnt as such even though he raced dirt bikes under the lights at the age of ten!

What do you guys think about a night race? My biggest thrill is that we might get Speedtv :fire: (NascrapTV) to show both events Live. They do a horrible job doing motogp broadcasts as when i was in italy earlier this year, italian tv had 2 hours of Mugello GP without commercials!

Singapore will follow suit in the F1 circus on sept 28

i like the coverage on speed tv they did okay. it was the races that where on other channels that made it a pita. i like the commentary.

That track has been around for a while. When he said that the track is almost complete he probably meant they were close to finished with the lights. I went to the first race back at Laguna Seca in 2005 and man is moto gp fun. Me and my family are going to the race at Indy this summer. I can't wait!:D

haha Yeah that track is amazing. The best part about that race was that is was Nickey Haydens first MotoGP win. Everybody at the race was going crazy.

yeah, I can imagine. I have to say, he did have a pretty unfair advantage at that track.

I am fully aware of that, I was just sayinig. I didnt mean it in a bad way. Even if he didnt win that race, he won the championship so we all know the man can ride.

Thats awesome! I think we're staying in a rental house that supposed to be right across the street from the track. Guess I'll see you there.:D

My cousin lives up in Indy, and he is usually on the road (NHRA bike drag race mechanic) , so he told me I can stay at his place.
