I got a wreckless driving ticket a few hours ago. :(
I was at a 4 way stopped took my right, down a slightly down hill road and slid sideways on the icy road, isnt that called hydroplaning? And a pparently i'm going to loose my license for 6 months from what he says. I have a clean record except for one seat belt violation.

OO and i was driving a jacked up jeep cherokee with 35" tires....

Any help or ideas on what i should do would be great.

yeah, what these guys /\/\/\ said. Tell them that you hit ice or something. Def. get a lawyer though. It will be well worth the money.

should've gotten out your camera phone/digi camera and taken pictures of the area right after that ticket.

but now you'll probably have to get a lawyer. good luck.

well on the ticket it says ice condition. I am getting a attorney. been on the phone all day, with them. I think everything will work out for me. Punishment don't fit the crime AT ALL!!! sooo i'm dropping some nickels >,<

First ticket, the judge will cut you slack. Bring your parents, because that will show that your parents give a ****.

Yep... bring parents (if possible), get a haircut (if needed), and dress up a little. Everyone knows the weather was bad. You'll be aight.

too fast for conditions. I"ve seen a guy in court have a similiar situation and they suspended his license for six months. Hydroplaning happens at about 60+ mph or so. Good luck.

LMAO...
Now reach up there a little farther and pull out some actual facts. Hydroplaning can occur at any speed, but on ice, it isn't hydroplaning, you simply slide, it can happen to anyone, in any car at 2 MPH or 150MPH.

best bet is to get a lawyer. since its your first ticket (and the fact that it says icy cond.), the judge may cut you some slack, good luck.

Don't believe this bull sh.it. I was once driving at a raining day, and my car loss control while I was making a right turn ( bald tires all 4 ). I got the same violation as you did and only paid about a $100, and probably added 1-2 points to my records. Don't worry since it is your first ticket after the seat belt violation.
