if you have fine scratches on your windshield form the wipers, try this:

i tried it and noticed an improvement. it works on the windshield cause it is laminated by plastic sheets. it does not work on side windows though.

and rain-x kills these "sheets" of plastic..

but i dont have windsheild wipers soo.... fuccit :)

since when is a windsheild laminated by plastic sheets??? the "plastic" is between the glass, that's why you can pick out all the pieces when one shatters

on the same subject, but on a different note, at most malls they do "free" windsheild chip and scratch repairs in the parking lots....

its not really "free", but supposedly it is fully covered by most insurance companies

this is an old school thread but any polish will work on glass...whenever i do the paint i clean, polish, and wax the windows at the same time. takes out all the fine scratches and water runs right off...you just have to be careful not to get wax near/on rubber or you'll have a fun time trying to get it off.

you can use the plastic polish or even the metal polish creme on headlights & taillights too.

what about small uhh... not cracks, but little specs where a small pebble has hit the windsheild... is there some type of liquid to fix that? or am I screwed.

yeah some fuckin punk kids were fuckin around one day out in the street near my house throwin rocks and shit and one hit my fuckin back winshield i was pissed and they took off runnin those bastards. its pretty deep i dont know if mothers would help but i have been looking for something for the longest and couldnt seem to find anything 4 a nasty scrape on the glass
