We did a GT28RS on a b20VTEC Del SOl. 9psi it made 285whp with a FAT powerband, it hit full boost at 2000rpms.

Car was evil.

so when you can't pick the rpm signal the dyno doesn't show the TQ curve ?

to the OP: the RS of course

well the TQ will show but it will be a jagged graph with unrealistic tq numbers.

I can post the TQ, it just wont be realistic

How can you get realistic hp with unrealistic TQ. -_-

ok, the TQ will show 450 ft lbs, because it will be spiked.

Some cars the tach lead is real sensitive, if it picks up a bad signal it will spike and show a high TQ number.

You can strap a car down and do pulls with not electronics hooked up and it will calculate a HP number based on the rollers speed.

The TQ comes from the RPM or tach lead calculated with the roller speed (HP)

so bad tach lead, bad tq numbers.

You guys may want to invest in some new cables or something for the dyno. I dont think that I have seen a graph come out in rpm, showing TQ or w/out the curve being all fu(ked up.

Some cars just have ignition problems or MSD sometimes makes thing hard to read. Ive been around enough dynos to know that some cars, just dont read right.

Why is that? Did you finally get your block back? I called them on it. If this is Mike? Pat's buddy from Macon/W.R.

the td05- 18g will support more power

but the gt28rs will spool a lot faster...

so its on you...

I personally would pick the 18G because its much cheaper and it still spools pretty quick (same turbine side as stock starion turbo) and supports on top end.
