Australian KING Eddy Tassone's cars

Eddy Tassone TT 1525hp 383 Holden Street car ~ 8.11 sec

Eddy had already won the Australian Summernats Horsepower Hero Title twice as well as being the current Pacemaker Headers Australian Horsepower Champion (3 Times). With hp ranges from 1100rwhp to 1525hp at the rear wheels. At the Holden vs Ford show in Perth a few months ago, Eddy Tassone surpassed all previous records and MAX’d the Dyno Dynamics Twin Retarder Dyno. The Holden VZ Commodore SS Ute made 1899rwhp! The Ute has a 383 stroker V8 (based on the old Holden 5.0L block) with twin turbos, custom cam and manifold using 40psi and C16 fuel. Apparently they backed off before the redline because the engine was leaning out due to the fact it was not tuned properly (they only put the engine together the day before the event), so it only revved to 6500rpm, and the Dyno graph indicates it would have kept going.
There has apparently been some conjecture over the figure in relation to the corrective software in the Dyno and this maybe why I haven't heard much else about it. Maybe it didn't end up being a valid reading? I haven't heard the final result & I wasn't there. Four comments have been stated however:
1. The Tassone Ute was still making Power when the RED Max Retarder screen came up and Ed pulled out of the Pass.
2. The Intake Temperature Sensor was faulty and had a reading of 230….and the same reading applied to the next and final car on the Dyno at the Show.
3. What 'IS' the Horsepower Figure when the Max Retarder Screen comes up on a Dual Retarder Dyno Dynamics Dyno as it has never ever been seen before?
4. There was still 1500 RPM plus in the engine and 30 KPH in the Dyno when Ed pulled out… would it have gone any further – of course… how far?... they do not know!
There is a full story of the car build and notes about the dyno graph on the AME(Australian Motoring Expo) website. The next Holden vs Ford Show will be held at the Brisbane RNA Show Grounds on the 25th-26th of November 06. AND I WILL BE THERE!woo hoo! So I hope to get some pics. Could Eddy make 2000hp at the rear wheels?
The Dyno sheet below was taken after the second run, the third run was 1898.9rwhp.

Ok guys after doing some homework it seems apparent that the "Intake Temperature Sensor which had a reading of 230" really messed up the dyno results. This is because the ute has a very similar setup to Eddy's Vk commodore and that car made about 1500 whp.....the same or very similar setup wont gain 400 whp just like that! Heres the web site...
