Yeah - that's low-ball for a network guy in the ATL market. I will keep my eyes open for some techs who are looking though.

ack,

Here’s the latest on that NOC position I told you about:

It’s okay if anyone you know has lighter experience as a NOC tech, all we need is someone who’s monitored a network, understands troubleshooting a router or switch, and, has worked with an ISP or LEC on getting a data circuit restored. All the other technical skills can be taught.

As for personality, we need a strong communicator who is service oriented, patient and is a quick learner. The hours are Sat – 8 AM to 8 PM, Sun, Noon to 11:30 PM, M-Tues – 8:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Sat and Sun it is possible to work from home, so that’s a huge plus.

Man, I've been wanting to get into the NOC zone, and my friend with AT&T ( MNOC ) was trying to help me ( his supervisor wanted guys that didnt matter on exp, just the willingness to learn ) but the guy never called :(

Still I wonder if I should apply regardless ( I do have some IT tech/LAN background :D )
