I was wondering what you guys think. Onc apon a time these were considered the Sh!t but there seems to be a back-lash against these sorts of cars. Its hard for me to say that they are "riced OUT" because these companys put a lot of $$$ into their respective products. what do you guys think?

matter of taste really.... over here with this "jdm brain wash" people over here dont understand that to stand out as much as possible is really more important than even speed and performance in japan today. Thats why Vans, Wagons, Kei cars and VIP are bigger in japan than drifting or any of these other fads.

back to what you were saying though.... Veilside really should be real strong as the do have a prominant role in japan. Like other big companies tasken their focus from Speed/drift kits to VIP ..... they even do kits for Ferrari, Bentley, and Hummer. When your a business thats there to make money you have to move with the industry and thats just where it is right now.
The only negative for me is when Veilside cancelled Andruw Racing Wheels. :(

I hate being like everyone else.

kinda stupid to bring this up but............
i dont think Veilside made just some dollers and cents from F&F Tokyo Drift.
you gotta beleve the amount of orders they got for their kits world wide after that film. Veilside's website's cover page is still all F&F rx7 and Fairlady!
I'm really excited to see their R35 GTR kit when it comes out.
On the Abflug side

I've always thought the veilside rx7 looked good. Infinitely better than the abflug ones you posted on the other thread.

X200000 i rock my car cause its decently rare and more so i hate having parts that anyone else had.. reason i got rid of my SIL when drifting got amazingly huge... :gay:
ON TOPIC: veilside isn't going anywhere, the fact is that people over there still do the stuff that half the people over here say is rice...except they don't have to be eye candy grabbin paint and all in one piece.. touge damage and wangan rules! besides.. the newer cars don't touch the lines and niceness of the older ones... IE supra and RX... the 8's are uglier than the 7 and the supra is dead... (for now)

Don't know if I would call those cars riced out because you know they have an insane amount of money in the engine to back the looks up.... but there not my taste

well, they are definitely what i would call "riced out"
i think they look immaculate, but people over here just aren't really into the outlandish style associated with these cars...because it has been imitated so poorly by those we call "ricers"
and there's my :2cents:

I think seeing these kits on the car in person would change many peoples opinion. the s900 kit on the supra looks amazing.

werd!!!!!!!!:goodjob:
they design these kits to change the car and make it better all around aerodynamically. Every time they talk to the person that came up with the design of the kits. he has an explanation and a purpose for every curve/vent/flare etc.. Not everyone likes to look at stock debadged cars with 2k wheels.
you people and this rice word are soo funny..

who cares. if some1 likes body kits, and its done nicely and its flush and painted all the same color, who are we to judge their car? It's their fukin car.
I dont mind body kits as long as everything is in order. if it is broken, hangin off, some off color and they arent planning on painting it, then i hate them.

i've never liked those supras... the red one posted is not too bad because it looks like a remake of the jgtc car.

The problem is people are just cheap and want to buy fake stuff or buy cheap stuff or make stuff.
The other problem is its hard to get here.
Maybe the new VIP scene will help them here, but hell VIP is all confused here, people raping that name.
I'm TRYING to get Abflug stuff for my car but its a BIATCH to try to get from Japan. I've been waiting and waiting and waiting.....
hows this?

That's sick. I'd go without the wing, but that might be the best looking Supra I've ever seen.

Im in love with the tuner scene, i do honestly think it has died down since the 90's but i will still be a tuner child for life.
