How do you figure? Why lie about doing it? And as for sheltered just because I never did it? I'm not so sure that going to Miami(and surrounding areas) one weekend a month for 4 years(between ages 18 and 22) to hang out is sheltered. I don't think that me being 37 and having a 23 year old would back up a sheltered life claim. Spending 18 years of my life in and (mostly) around gangs isn't too sheltered. I'm 100% sure that actually being homeless and living on the streets of Atlanta for 2 years would NOT be considered sheltered. I didn't even go to a shelter. And all of the above mentioned "events" in my life happened before I turned 30. Later, QD.

Do you think I'm asking this to find some smoke buddies on IA? No, I'm not. I don't smoke marijuana, I have, but stopped. Some of my friends have wasted away their lives from it, I'm not about to go down that path.

I'm not sheltered... i just don't see the point. How the hell is smoking some plant going to benefit my body for the better? Same goes for alcohol and cigarettes. I don't understand peoples' motives for doing these things... it just doesn't add up. :thinking:

i agree. i smoked for 2 yrs straighr and gained nothing that matters in life out of it. it took a away a lot of my time that i could have been productive with and not to mention school grades. and the whole time i didnt think it was a big deal, once i quit i realized the damage i was doing to myself. not the way to live.

to be fair, i know many MANY people who don't smoke, but in fact DO suck at life. so maybe weed isn't the main causative factor involved life suckage? just a thought.

I agree with this. People that I know that are total potheads are usually wastes of lifes, with only a VERY few exeptions. On the other hand I know many people that do smoke marijuana occasionally who are smart people who will be going to good colleges and will make something of themselves.
