It appears that Pete Carroll is interested in the falcons and should be speaking with Arthur Blank today. Supposedly, Blank is going to give him full control of the team, which is what Carroll wants and what interests him.
Hopefully it happens :D Although college and the pro's are on a COMPLETELY different level, I think he'll bring a very good attitude to Atlanta

The only winning records he had were with the Patriots, a team he didn't build.
He'd have to build the falcons.
Plus it'd be retarded to come want to coach ATL, there is no offer besides full control of team.
The falcons are going to be a garbage team for many years to come.

A team he didn't build? The patriots went 5-11 the first season under Belichick. He turned it around the next to 11-5 and has had winning records since.
Yes the Falcons are **** right now, but who knows, Carroll might make some changes for the better. We all know anything is better than Petrino.

Oh and since you say that Belichick didn't build the Patriots, look at the coach who he replaced. It was a guy by the name of Pete Carroll ;)

Belichick has made the patriots what they are today.
I'm saying, when Pete Carroll made the playoffs with the Pats before it wasn't because of anything special he did.
All he did was coach the jets one season and jump ship to a better offer.
if he comes, hopefully all the usc players will come, cause there better than the falcons lol

No more college coaches, 1 OF OUT 20 actually have a winning record in the NFL and won't leave to go back to College Football.
I think there is a lot good NFL coaches out there that are looking for a good team right now, and I can't believe the Falcons have not interviewed atleast 1 of them. Sorry but College coaches are not the way to go if you plan on winning in the next 3 years

I think it will be a good idea. Anything remotely decent that wants to come to atlanta would be welcomed.

disagree, the whole patriots team made the patriots what they are today but If I was to pick one player to stand out the crowd that I can say really made the team is Brady but other than that Im still not convinced that a coach will make a team no matter what kind of winning history a coach has, if a team sucks they just suck simple as that
