I hate Comcast "Digital" Cable. About 90% of my channels have been out since last Sunday and they still haven't dealt with my issue. I hope the customer service reps with their pompous attittudes rot in hell. I've spent a total of 3 and 1/2 hours on hold over the past 3 days. Furthermore, I hope the service techs die of Lymphocytic colitis. That is all. Have a great day!

^^ Hell, I pay almost $140 (including highspeed) every month for nothing. I don't like the Dish either but it's the lesser of 2 evils. Everyone stop using ComCrap!

Edit: I've increased the dosing of my Fukitol to 2 caps po BID or PRN.

Damn, you are getting ripped off. You should be able to get at least the Digital Starter package plus your internet for that price. Death to ComCrap!

hmmm, i may have to switch to dish then.

they were charging me like 29.99 for my cable - which isn't bad and they did that for 2 months and then went up to 45 a month for cable. so....i will look into the dish

comcast sucks my friend just got rid of dish network and he hates it so much because he got comcast. his channels aren't as clear with comcast and they are always at his house trying to get it fixed. atleast with dish you know you are getting screwed from the moment you sign up.

Well Bellsouth isn't any better. Called them to change the name on my account. Should be simple right? What do they do? Disconnect it, and charge me a reconnect fee. Took 2 weeks, and 10 phone calls to get it working again. Just to change the name.As far as dish, it's so much better than cable. I lose a couple channels for about 2 mins if there is a severe thunderstorm (TV shouldn't really be on at that time anyway). When cable goes out it's usually out for hours or a couple days. Plus the channels are clear on the dish. With cable some channels are better than others. My dad has always had a bad reception, and 2 yrs later they still can't figure it out. They changed his box, had him change all the coax in the house, changed his wires at the box down the street. It's getting some kind of interference. Oh yeah I get about 30 more channels than he does, and he pays $12 more a month too.

I have Charter (dunno if its available in ATL) but its our only option around here.

I just got it the other day, my cable internet seems kinda slow (compared to my old bellsouth DSL i had in atlanta) but the cable is great. I have digital in the family room and just regular in the other 2 bedrooms. Its $89.99 a month for the cable and the cable internet and thats with over 200+ channels and every movie channel offered.

Good service so far too.

i just sent an inquiry in to Dish Network just to make sure that with the 60 channels plan that I get WB36 (simpsons, one tree hill) and NBC (my soaps) since i watch those two channels more than anything else. If I do - then I will be switching most likely. :D

Thanks Paul! If they ask for a referer, I will tell them it was you.

Dont forget that your internet is going to be about 15 bucks a month higher once you drop the cable.
