ef tranny question

hey guys just a quick question now i know the SI tranny is better then the 5spd tranny from the 88-91 Si's. is the non si just a longer geared tranny or what i have not gotten to actually drive a ef on either. thanks

The DX 5 speed has the same gear ratios as the Si, but the final drive ratio is different. Thus, making the Si transmission shorter.

so if i was going to boost a zc which would you do the si or the dx?

dx unless you're trying to take it to 300mph then a hf tranny LOL

I agree with Dare. You won't need the help in acceleration that the Si tranny would give.
