I've been searching all over ga for a place that acid dips. i need to dip my 240 to prep it for body work, anyone know of a reasonable, trustworthy place?

why do you need to acid dip your 240? that is not something i would unless your doing a ground up resto. you have to take absolutely every thing off the car! for all the work and money involved I would just buy a 240 with a good body!

lol... it'll cost you more then the car is worth haha.
BTW, i dont think anyone out there can 'acid dip' a car...... looks like you'll be having a body shop media blast your bare frame.

i have a perfect body, i'm seam welding the car, putting a cage in and tubing the front end.
and im way too impatient to sit there with a random orbit all day long

If you want acid dipping, I don't know of anyone that does it...but I DO know there's a company kinda by white water called metal coaters. I don't know if this is AT ALL up their ally...but if anyone, I'd try them...?

problem with sand blasting is that its impossible to get all of the blasting media out of the car. not so good for metal prepping

strip anything that isn't metal off of it

sounds like its gonna be nice when finished. i dont know any places for sure but try race shops like BSI, OPM, Kinetic racing, etc. they sometimes do it to there race cars...GL with the build.
