FREE DYNO DAY JAN 12th

RPMotorsports and RedStar Performance in covington is hosting a free dyno day on sat jan 12th from 9am till whenever. It will be for all 2 wheel drive vehicles, sorry Evo and Sti guys but we still encourage you all to come out. im an evo dude :goodjob: The dyno is an in-ground DynoJet.

It will be offered free to anyone who puts down over 600whp or anyone who has a legitimate dyno printout from another shop, local or distant, no matter what power you make. For those of you that do not fall into these two catagorys, you can still dyno your vehicle for $35 or $50 with Air/Fuel printout. Also those that dyno free will also recieve Air/Fuel printouts free.

Also for those that would like to drive thier own vehicle on the dyno you are more than welcome to, or you can have someone else drive it for you. Depending on the turnout will determine if more than 3 pulls will be allowed.

Had a great time this morning. I had the first run in the green accord. I was ok with the results. The guys that run the shop are very nice. I have been there before. They remember and it's been since early last summer when I was there. Hope everyone had a great time. I didn't get to stay to see the turbo integra or anything else high. Only the hatch with K20 and N20... that was impressive. Thanks again RedStarPerformance for a great time.

The numbers my car pulled from Redstar and Mainstream are pretty much the same. My best pull at Mainstream two years ago was 378 whp 378 wtq while at Redstar, I pulled 371 whp 372 wtq. This is with the same exact setup. The pulls last weekend at Mainstream from the SRT-4 meet, I was testing out a new part (new part=more boost) and I was only on Shell V-Power. It made 348 whp 347 wtq. I usually get up to 50 more whp on race gas.

It was nice to meet everyone. I saw some really nice cars & nice numbers layed down! I was the guy with the 'H' hat trying not to scatter my friend's K20 internals all over the dyno :D

I think the exhaust is probably too restrictive at high rpm when on the bottle... so 304whp may be all it will do until that problem is solved. If we come for a tuning session on the dyno we could always try some open header pulls to see if that is the case.

why is it that the person after my car dynoed at mainstream also complained of lower hp than usual about 20hp less than he made a week ago ..

... joel with the STOCK ls made 129whp ... so my car at mainstream made less than a stock ls.. very funny...

my car made 164.9 at redstar even though the power band was not steady at all and air fuel was also unsteady and jumping up and down.. my car needs to get tuned...

This is with the same exact setup. The pulls last weekend at Mainstream from the SRT-4 meet, I was testing out a new part (new part=more boost) and I was only on Shell V-Power. It made 348 whp 347 wtq. I usually get up to 50 more whp on race gas.

why is it that the person after my car dynoed at mainstream also complained of lower hp than usual about 20hp less than he made a week ago ..

... joel with the STOCK ls made 129whp ... so my car at mainstream made less than a stock ls.. very funny...

my car made 164.9 at redstar even though the power band was not steady at all and air fuel was also unsteady and jumping up and down.. my car needs to get tuned...

Dude, I was the one who noted that. And is wasn't blowing it out. It was literally pouring it out. Your rings are shot. Or the PCV valve is totally clogged.

Rofl, it was kinda indoors for RWD and pretty much outdoors for FWD.

Although the loudest **** I've ever heard was that loud ass VW Golf. Omg...it was sounding beautiful.

Hahh, it was a blast though, even after running on no sleep for 24+ hours I woke right up when I got to see that beautiful Evolution you guys have.
