lotsa bands put their stuff on the websites for free, 'specially if they're not as well known...and it's totally legal and generally spyware free...so try that before you go to limewire/kazaa/torrent/whatever. I think you can still get radiohead's new album online for free.

you can try torrents

but if your new to torrents or on a buisness/campus network you can do this:


go to google and type this in:

intitle:index.of"mp3"+"[name of band or song]" -htm -html -php -asp "Last Modified"



some stuff wont allow you to save, but a lot do.


also you can rip audio from music videos on youtube using various programs. if you wish to know more, PM me.

you type in a song you want, and it brings up songs to play. click visit site. It brings up a weird window, but in the top bar it actually gives a direct link to the actual MP3. Right click it and save as :D
