This week I have put a lot more work into my bar. When I first posted pics of my bar a few weeks ago, I got a lot of good comments, so I decided to post up some pics of the new bar top I installed. Along with installing the bar top, I put up and painted some more trim. I specially ordered the bar top from Hartson-Kennedy, at a cost of $160. I also spent another $50 on materials to mount the top to the wall underneath. All I have left to do is buy a large mirror for the back wall of the bar, and eventually install a sink behind the bar. Let me know what you guys think.

the red panelling is dirty, I know. After taking this pic I cleaned it.

the pic is deceiving. The bar top sticks out about 2" farther than the splash on the bottom. The dark area is a shadow, not a gap.

I did it like that on purpose so I could run wires under if I am going to plug something in, and also to set things under the lip (stir straws, napkins, etc)

what brand (tap machine inc?) and what price? I can get one for $150 if I want, so I'm not really willing to pay any more than that.

yea I was thinking about just getting a new one, but I really don't even need one. My freezer keeps it at about -3 degrees (10 degrees colder than the tap machine), and even when I have a lot of people over, I dont go through but about 1 bottle a night.
