Aesthetically speaking, it won't look good. Odd number of spokes work best. 5 spokes are classic.

4 spokes just look odd. Also another thing to think about, with just an open rim design, make sure your brakes look good.

Looks good. Different, but good. I wouldn't put them on my 7 (assuming that those were 5 lug and the correct offset and w/e), but I think they'll fit your car well visually.

ALL WRONG. this design was take from the SSR Type X the OG :D they simply filled in the gap. but yes the axis crew is also correct in their ass-umptions

*this has been an official jdm wheel whore moment*

Aixs never made a "auto-x" That was rota..

Axis made MAG-Lites.. which are still, lighter weight than the whels the OP bought.

Something different? way to jump on the banwagon with everyone switching to the old school rims. I liked it at first but almost every person is slapping these on there cars.

used to be white rims, black rims, 15" rims, rims with red lips, old school rims and then it'll go back to big rims. watch...

EVERYONE IS WRONG ABOUT THE WHEELS...

They were copied from the SSR SP2 WHEELS.. Not the X series ya'll are thinking of.

I drive approximately 500 to 600 miles every day, 6 days a week and have yet to one set on the road. This is certainly NOT a bandwagon move. Getting colored rims would be a bandwagon move. Also, after thinking about what car they are going on, I don't care for that. Those rims belong on an old school car. My CVCC would look good with a set of those in 13". Later, QD.

Maybe not this rim in particular but everyone is switching the older style wheels. Ive been to SEMA the past 3 years and this past year SOOO many companies started producing replica styles to the older style wheel b/c they are coming back in style.

Honestly I dont like the older style wheels on most new cars. It doesnt mesh very well. They look better basically anything '91 and older.

Seeing these rims at SEMA is whole lot different than seeing them on every car(or any car) in Gwinnett.

I made the same comment in my post you quoted. But my year cut off would be around mid 80's. Later, QD.

But my point is, these companies are recognizing everyone switching to these rims and mass producing them again.

didnt see that until now. I just dont think they look "right" on my new cars. Granted some of them do look very nice.

true, but I think the rims have to fit the car and vice versa. You can put old school rims on a 92+ civic, an 94+ integra, and a pre 88 car--IMO, the pre88 car will look the best with them. No matter how many cars have old school rims, they will always look good on a classic. :goodjob:
