okay looking to buy a car and i am not sure what i want i was thinking a ef civic but to do a swap and everything to make it nice is alot of work
so i am thinking of either a 02 svt focus, toyota mr2,2.5rs or already swapped eg. tell me what you guys think i'm going to spend around 8k on the whole project and want somthing fun, quick, and well handling, i would like somthing also comfterable and a it should be a 2-door with a back seat (besides the mr2)
anyways i just want some suggestions on car shopping i cant decide what i want and i will keep this car for a while so i dont want to make a bad choice any input is welcomed thanks :bigok:

www.honda-tech.com (http://www.honda-tech.com) and go to the classifieds. You can find a nice swapped car there, and let someone else take the hit. Buying a stock car and doing it all yourself will cost 3 times as much (even though its fun). To me it's funner to drive than to wrench, and it doesn't hurt to save money doing it.

lamar!! funner? lol and that is true, its always nice to have a build and do what you want as its going in... but money pit, one thats done properly and have knowledge is the best way to go, the route i am taking too :D but only EG

SW20 y0! Turbo is good. Turbo is wise. Spool made with cars off the assembly line are better than wishing and making your cars turbo.... toyota's are Gods gift to the turbo.

not gay to buy a built car. sometimes u get what u want and save your tuning time. also how many ppl buy a car and leave it the way it is? there is always more to improve on. u just started with easier to work with platform.

yea, the svt actually does handle pretty well, knew someone who had one, of course he didnt have the money to make his payments so they took it back, and he bought an extremely fast civic hatch for a heck of alot less. (the svt will definitly empty ur pockets more, just cuz its newer and it has the  "SVT" badge)

yeah that's true, but you have to worry about the person doing the work properly and and make sure he/or she didin't take any shortcuts.

If I was the guy that started this thread, I would just buy a crx bone stock. Put a b18c1 in it. Slam that bitch on si wheels and call it a day. :D

You could consider a Nissan turbocharged 200sx. It's going cheap.

yes, www.opmautosports.com (http://www.opmautosports.com)

They work on racecars, but they do all factory services on Honda, and Acuras (that's where they make most of their money). I used to use them before I started doing my own work. Brett has used them. They are honest people, and I beleive more knowledgeable than the dealership's techs. Not to mention a little cheaper than others.
