do you have coolant in the car? if you dont have enough it might not flow past the sensor right...

u owe me $4,253.86 for that piece of advice. :D

Besides, I'm sure of this because I had the same problem. I didnt notice it till AFTER the temp fell below 100. And yes, its a pain in the ass to change. UGH

how is that so hard to change doesnt seem like it would be hard Its not HARD to change it, its just hard to get too it. At least for me. I dont like ish in my way, so I removed things that dont need to be removed. Plus... my back has seen better days, though I'm young:( . Its not hard, its just tedious.

Yea I need to run a poll and see how many people that drive EF's use the Distributor King version. I might buy me one.

follow the lower radiator hose, at the end of it will be this cap thingy with 2 sensors on it, remove that ( 2 10mm bolts ) and pry out the thermostat with a flathead. buy a new one from honda ( 22 bucks ) and put it in with the new washer, put some RTV silicone on the housing and put it back on and torque to 8lbs. attach hose, fill with coolant and let idle ;)

^what he said except the RTV silicone. Use the gasket that comes with the honda thermo..... Gasket= rubber thing that goes around the thermo....

pssh... I used that generic $8 one from Autozone, it works fine :gay: no need to burn money where u dont need to.

And RTV silicone? Who uses that when it has a gasket??
