Come back in 5 minutes when all the pics are loaded

Supposedly around $3k total invested and countless hours. The builder was a draftsman that had never welded until starting this project...

Mad props. After comming this far though, just go ahead and get glass from a shop or even plexi-glass pannels cut and put in, then get the seats re-uphulstered. Great job on the bosy. Looks better than all those H2s on the road. And H1s cost what? Like 110K? This is so much better and for so much less. Imagine the pride behind that kind of DIY.

"Where did you get your hands on an H1 Hummer?"

"I made it"

I would freakin drive that EVERYWHERE.

What else gives the H1 the massive TQ capabilities?

speedminded
01-03-2008, 03:39 PM
What else gives the H1 the massive TQ capabilities? They are "torquey" but just saying they aren't as impressive as you may think off-road. Being 8 foot wide makes them less susceptible to turning over but they aren't all that when getting from Point A to Point B...just throw a granny gear in if you wanna crawl

2002 H1 specs:
195 HP @ 3,400 rpm & 430 ft lb @ 1,800 rpm

I still want one though!

thats amazing right there.. ive always been a HUGE H1 fan...

but i do doubt 3K built that.. the dimondplate alone in the trunk was at least 500

Jason..
01-04-2008, 08:41 AM
if u could fab it yourself and had your own shop you could deff. build it for 3k
