For those of you who dont know, my 06 legacy has an "internal disease" which I now seek to cure. Needless to say I sold my coilovers which will be replaced with a better set by the time shes back on the road. I intend to go with a whole new suspension setup. As for the engine I went ahead and pulled it today. The next free day i have ill start stripping down to the block. Im shooting for 250 crank hp, which with the setup Im going with its looking pretty optimistic. Then again thats an estimate so it could be less, hopefully more-lol. Im just taking my time with it bc i want it done right..so ill keep ya posted.

And? Are you at least doing a tranny upgrade or staying auto?

Me no like boost!!!!! The only upgrade im doing for the tranny right now is the Valve body upgrade which is supposedly night and day difference. I thought of just going ahead and going to manual but its not worth it with just the 5mt. Eventually ill go manual, but it will be with STI 6spd and DCCD!!! Thats worth it!!!

i heard he was chasing a black lucino and got caught in some excess gas fumes coming from a jdm exhaust system, maybe you caught some pressure air through that lil subaru engine and it coughed and wheezed its way to death.. sigh
i keed i keed... but seriously i'm glad its out and can't wait to see her back on the road

I love the legacy...but it will be better when it gets back on the road.....what does the valve body upgrade do? better shifting?

ya it firms up the shifts and makes them a little quicker. I know I know subaru=boost but im just not a fan. As for the pistons......ya thats pretty much the plan for the bottom end, but they will be going in an sti bottom end.
