Anyways, yeah, to anyone who needs my help on their cars...let's get crackin'. I start with Nova Commercial Interiors tomorrow (02JAN2008) where I'll be working 6am til 2pm in Atlanta, and when I get done, I'll be back in Marietta working at Auto Technology Collision til 5. When I clock out at 5 (give or take) M-F and on the weekends (only when the owner of Auto Tech feels like staying) when I'm NOT working on my two projects is the only time I have to work on any other projects. And from the way yesterday sounded...I think I've got a full schedule.

I leave in February (25th) for Parris Island. Anything I don't get done before then...sorry. :( Also, the month of February, I plan to do some traveling visiting friends and family before I go...

Dare, that project should take...maybe a full day...tops.

Toonz, same deal.

And for an update on my project...I've got the car OH so close to going through full primer on the shell. One door, fenders, and rear center strip have been primed and are waiting for paint. A decent amount of the audio/video/alarm has been or will be purchased tomorrow. That's all I've got for now. :ninja:

...well, I don't think it's breaking any rules. I'm simply notifying those that I've talked to in person about getting their projects done that I don't have much time to work on stuff...I'm not advertising. Hell, even if I did advertise, I can't take on any more projects. Time won't allow it. I'm rewiring my buddy's entire 79 Bronco during my off-hours this week. Him and I are making a trade to another toy I think the new hatch is gonna get... :ninja: All I'm saying is part of the deal is a power inverter...

Nonetheless...if it IS breaking the rules, I'd hope for something like this I'd be notified before being banned.

AJ...watch yourself...don't piss off the wrong people... Careful what you say. In my opinion, my post doesn't break the rules, but it is a post that's borderlined...or just shy of. Cuz it IS business, but it was done OFF of IA, and my post is not advertising to pull in work from IA.

IA has very strict policies about advertising labor. I pushed my limits and joked about one of the mods in the past. It was more my "mockery" of the mod's threat that got banned than it was the post itself.

I'll tell you what I can without getting banned...

A fender for EF's usually run about 50-75$ per side from companies like Certi-fit, etc...of whom these companies are the ones that provide aftermarket NOS (new old stock) parts for collision centers. OEM fenders from honda run about 200$ a side (if I remember right). If you keep an eye on our EF Squad classifieds area...you'll note that we sometimes have body panels...

As for getting the entire body smoothed over and repainted...with the low cost it is to buy an EF, you're PROBABLY going to be better off buying one with less dents/dings/whatever. Most collision centers run between 65-95$/hr. This is excluding any parts that are bought, or paint/primer used. To paint a car properly would usually run you between a grand and up to as much as 3, 4, or even sometimes 5 or 6K$. That's to make your car coming out prestine. To make a car look mint...it takes time. Time takes money. How clean do you want your car to be in the end?

If you're looking to get your car looking pretty good for a pretty good deal, SprayGlo in Duluth offers paintjobs for around 450-700$-ish...depending. I won't say they're bad, but I will advise (as with ANY body shop) you check their reputation.

Everything done to my car was self-taught because I love the hobby and find it fun to work on cars.

What? I'm confused...I thought we were gonna do the DC first, then the hatch? And if we ARE working on the hatch, I'd advise doing the rears first...
