i got a buddy of mine who lives by the invidia exhaust for an EF. he's had one on his old EF and getting another one for the EF he's working on now. he says it's real quiet with a nice purr to it. expensive but it'd be worth it

ive got pacesetter taht came on my car, and its sounds great..im serious.. :), but i doubt it it will sound the same on a honda.. the best sounding exhasust for ah onda is always th emost expensive... i always fiind that to be unfair!

i always see efs with exhaust but they sound so damn bad or are too damn loud what about apexi and i would like to have stock exhaust but piping is too small for my motor

Y not just get a one-off exhuast made to between 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches. IF ur running a stock D16 motor. Others, I have no idea about. But... that what I run and it gave me all the extra power I need.

Mine isnt loud either, nice riciest, its not raspy or any of that. The muffler itself is a Cherry Bomb "Turbo" so it provides enough backpressure for the small motor at high speed. And... u still get ur 40+ mpg on the freeway. Without killing ur ears.

I have a ls but when i got the car it had a magnaflow exhaust tip so its pretty loud but its got catback piping dont know what size tho I was wondering what exhaust is good for a ef with a swap cuz most exhaust the piping isnt big enought

Oh yea, duh. I forgot. Umm... u could still try the Cherry Bomb Turbo's. They are nice and quiet, but produce some audio for u to enjoy around 2-3000rpm. Maybe 100-140 dollars.

If u come to the V-meet I'll let u listen and take a short ride in mine so u can get a sample of it.

hell.... B and D series motors,on all my cars i have a muffler guy that 1 off's all my exhaust,my GSR build is using a 2 1/2 in piping, catco hi flo cat,no res. and a magnaflo muffler! hell i had about the same setup on a mini-me setup i had in my EF! so go with a 1 off setup! you can get all the right bends, and get the right amount of backpressure ya need also! cant jus free it all up...lol... like someoe else said "no exhaust"...lol...

ive got the invidia N1 on mine and it sounds great. deep rumble, 2.5" polished stainless all the way from the cat. bolts right up. you may haveo find an alternate way to hang it from one of the hangers since the rubber one is too .... short i believe.... i just used some rubber hose and a worm gear.

bout $550 but i couldnt be happier.

I myself am going to be getting the Tanabe Super Hyper Medallion. Nothing too loud and it looks descent as well and provides good gains. Just looking for some pics as i havent seen it on an EF in awhile.

I have a buddy club everyone tells me its bad ass. Plus you said best exhaust, not best sounding exhaust :lmfao:

Anyways, if you want a good exhaust here are some options. (also note they are for n/a setups)

1. RSR (gotta have that cheeze)
2. Mugen (good luck finding one)
3. HKS (another rare one, you would have to find a used one)
4. Apexi (kinda rare too)
5. Buddyclub (small diameter piping, about 2in, but more than likely flows it flows better than the rest)

Will the 2nd gen Spoon muffler work on an EF or is it too long? I guess it would have to be angled in order to fit.

For the money get a Nopi exhaust or Tsudo, they're bolt-on and fairly quiet. All the brand name stuff will only cost you more money and no extra WHP.

ebay bbp Japanese made stainless system $250 gets you a stainless 4-2-1 header and a 2 1/2" catback system, all you're missing is a hollow cat. I have this system on my 95 eg8 and it sounds great and performs great!
